Rabbit Habit Tracker

Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 9, 2026

Rabbit is a habit tracking application designed to help you build habits, record daily progress, and manage your routines. The application primarily stores habit information on your device. Rabbit also supports optional integration with Google Drive for synchronizing and restoring your habit data.

This Privacy Policy describes what information Rabbit processes, how it is used, when it may be transferred to Google or other service providers, and how you can control your information.

1. Introduction

Rabbit Habit Tracker ("Rabbit", "the App", "we", "our", or "us") is developed and maintained by the developer operating the website mrhpn.com.

Rabbit is designed with a local-first approach. Core habit tracking functionality does not require connecting a Google account.

Google Drive synchronization is optional and requires your authorization. If you choose not to connect Google Drive, your habit information remains stored locally, subject to your device's operating system and backup settings.

2. Information Rabbit Processes

Rabbit processes information necessary to provide its habit tracking features.

2.1 Habit and progress information

Information you create or manage in Rabbit may include:

  • Habit names and descriptions.
  • Habit icons, colors, and categories.
  • Daily and weekly habit schedules.
  • Habit completion history and dates.
  • Step progress and counter values.
  • Skipped habit records.
  • Streaks and other progress statistics.
  • Reminder times and notification preferences.
  • Application settings, themes, and display preferences.

This information is used to display your habits, track your progress, calculate statistics, and provide the features you request.

2.2 Google account information

If you connect Google Drive, Rabbit uses Google's authorization process to request permission to access Google services required for synchronization.

Depending on the Google permissions you authorize, Google may provide account-related information, such as an account identifier, email address, or display name. Rabbit uses any such information only as necessary to identify the connected Google account and maintain the synchronization connection.

2.3 Authorization information

Google authorization may involve processing access tokens or other credentials needed to make authorized requests to Google Drive.

These credentials are used for the Google Drive integration, not for advertising, profiling, or unrelated access to your Google account.

3. Local Data Storage

Rabbit stores core habit tracking information locally on your device using application storage, including a local database.

This allows Rabbit to provide habit tracking features without requiring a continuous internet connection.

Rabbit does not operate a separate developer-hosted database for storing your habit records as part of its core local-first functionality.

If Google Drive synchronization is enabled, selected application data may also be transferred to and stored in your authorized Google Drive account, as described below.

4. Google Drive Integration

Rabbit offers optional Google Drive integration for storing, synchronizing, and restoring Rabbit application data. This feature requires your explicit authorization through Google OAuth.

4.1 Permissions requested

Rabbit requests the following Google Drive permission:

https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive.appdata

This permission allows Rabbit to create, read, update, and delete application-specific files within its own hidden Google Drive application data folder.

This permission does not give Rabbit access to your personal Google Drive documents, photographs, or files belonging to other applications.

4.2 Information stored

When you enable Google Drive synchronization, Rabbit may transfer habit tracking information from your device to your authorized Google Drive application data folder.

This information may include habit names, schedules, categories, progress records, completion history, streaks, and relevant application preferences.

4.3 How information is used

Rabbit uses this information only to provide application-related synchronization and restoration functionality requested by the user.

Rabbit does not use Google Drive information for targeted advertising, selling personal information, or unrelated profiling.

4.4 Storage and visibility

Application data files are stored in a hidden area of your Google Drive account. They are not visible as ordinary files in the Google Drive interface and cannot be accessed by unrelated applications.

Google processes and stores this information according to its applicable terms and privacy policy.

4.5 Revoking access and deleting data

You may revoke Rabbit's access to your Google account at any time through your Google Account connections.

Revoking access stops Rabbit from making further authorized Google Drive requests unless you reconnect your account.

Previously stored application data may remain in Google Drive after access is revoked. You can manage hidden application data through Google Drive settings under Manage apps, where the relevant options are available.

5. Google API Services User Data Policy

Rabbit's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs is intended to comply with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

In particular:

  • Google user data is used only to provide or improve user-facing features related to the authorized Google account connection and synchronization.
  • Google user data is not sold to advertisers, data brokers, or information resellers.
  • Google user data is not used for targeted advertising, retargeting, credit assessment, or unrelated user profiling.
  • Information obtained through Google Workspace APIs is not used to develop, improve, or train generalized artificial intelligence or machine learning models.
  • Google user data is not transferred to unrelated third parties, except when permitted by applicable Google policies, required by law, necessary for security, or authorized by the user to provide the requested functionality.
  • Rabbit does not provide routine human access to private Google Drive file contents. Any exceptional access, where technically possible, is limited to circumstances permitted by applicable Google policies, such as specific user consent, security, or legal requirements.

6. Data Sharing and Third-Party Services

Rabbit does not sell, rent, or trade your personal information or habit tracking data.

Information may be processed by third-party services when you use features that depend on those services.

  • Google Drive: Receives authorized Rabbit synchronization data when you enable the Google Drive feature.
  • Google OAuth: Processes authorization requests and permissions when you connect a Google account.
  • Google Play: May process purchase and subscription information when you purchase optional paid features.
  • Purchase management providers: If used by the App, may process purchase identifiers, transaction status, and subscription entitlements necessary to validate and manage paid features.

These providers process information under their applicable terms and privacy policies.

7. Analytics and Advertising

Rabbit does not use your habit information or Google Drive data to build advertising profiles, deliver targeted advertisements, or sell behavioral information.

Rabbit does not use Google Drive synchronization information for marketing, cross-application tracking, or unrelated analytics.

8. Data Security

Rabbit is designed to minimize unnecessary access to personal information by storing core habit tracking data locally on your device.

Google account authorization is handled through Google's authorization mechanisms. Transfers to Google APIs are intended to use secure HTTPS connections.

You should also protect your device and Google account using appropriate security measures, such as a device screen lock and Google account security features.

No method of electronic storage or transmission can be guaranteed completely secure.

9. Data Retention

9.1 Local data

Habit records and application settings remain on your device until they are removed through the App, deleted along with its local storage, or otherwise affected by device and operating system behavior.

9.2 Google Drive data

Data synchronized to Google Drive may remain in your Google account until the applicable backup files are deleted or removed through Google Drive's available data management mechanisms.

Disconnecting Rabbit from Google or uninstalling Rabbit does not necessarily delete previously synchronized Google Drive files.

9.3 Authorization data

Google authorization credentials are used only as needed to maintain authorized access to Google Drive. Their validity and revocation are also controlled by Google.

10. Your Privacy Choices

You have control over the habit information you create and whether you authorize Google Drive synchronization.

Depending on the features available in Rabbit, you can edit or remove habit records, change application preferences, and manage locally stored progress information.

You may also:

  • Continue using core habit tracking features without connecting a Google account.
  • Revoke Google account access from your Google Account settings.
  • Manage or delete Rabbit-related files in Google Drive using the options Google makes available for those files or app data.
  • Contact the developer with questions about data handling or deletion.

Privacy rights may also be available under laws applicable to your location.

11. In-App Purchases

Rabbit may offer optional paid features, subscriptions, or in-app purchases through Google Play.

Payment transactions are processed by Google Play. Rabbit does not directly request or store your full payment card number or banking credentials.

Purchase identifiers, transaction status, and entitlement information may be processed by Google Play and the purchase management services used by Rabbit to activate, verify, or restore purchased features.

12. Children's Privacy

Rabbit is a general-purpose habit tracking application and is not designed to request sensitive personal information from children.

If you believe information has been handled inappropriately in connection with a child, please contact the developer using the information below.

13. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in Rabbit's features, Google Drive integration, applicable laws, or data handling practices.

When changes are made, the Last updated date at the top of this page will be revised.

Where required, users will receive additional notice or be asked for consent before their data is used for materially different purposes.
